"Shaver ThermoWind 2000"
I love the outdoor forced air Shaver 2000 wood burner. It's the best investment I have made in a while. It holds our house at 72 degrees for 14 to 22 hours on a load of wood. It uses less wood than our old Bronco wood furnace we had for 20 years. There's no mess and no noise. It's so quiet, and the only time you get any smoke in your house is when you have the windows open, ha ha. Easy set up - we ran our 12-inch insulated duct through a 14-inch galvanized duct for a nice clean look. Place your orders early; they can get a little backed up. For a quality product, though, it's worth it.

"Can Anybody Say,"
What a joke. I cannot believe this company is allowed to do business. We bought our furnace 16 months ago. Immediately there were problems with it. I told my husband the unit looked like it was dropped. The blower switch burned up immediately and had to be operated manually. They replaced the switch but then there was smoke in the house. We were treated very rudely from the get-go and told it "couldn't" leak. We had to shut it down and go back to electric. We kept calling and trying to get someone to come fix it. The season came and went and winter came again, and we were still calling and trying to get someone to come out and test it to find out what was wrong with it. They finally found the 'leak' where the smoke was getting in so we fired it up only to find the blower switch was blown again. Out of 2 seasons we have used the unit, maybe 2 months and we are still paying exorbitantly high electric bills. We call and leave countless messages, threaten with bad reviews and lawsuits to no avail. We rarely ever get a return phone call and then it's just to blow more smoke. More promises to fix, more promises to replace but we never ever hear anything back from them. This is the poorest excuse for customer service I have ever experienced with any company. Not only would I not ever do business with them again I highly recommend you run as far and as fast from this company as you possibly can. Shaver furnaces are poorly made and they have zero customer service skills to back their product. They have no right to be in business! They are crooks and swindlers. Once they have your money that's all they care about. You are then irrelevant... On to the next sucker. By the way, these were not the only problems experienced with this unit. The thermostat was faulty and could never get anyone to replace it so we did that on our own and countless other problems that simply make this furnace a piece of junk.

"Shaver, Best Outdoor Wood Burning Furnace"
I've had my furnace for almost a year now. I love that when using it I can feel secure in the fact that it will always work. It heats my jacuzzi at my cabin like a champ. The only thing I dislike is the fact that it isn't very attractive, and it sticks out because it is green in color. I definitely reccomend the Shaver brand of outdoor wood burning furnaces to anyone who is looking to buy. If in the future ours needs to be replaced, Shaver will be our go to guys!

"Try the Thermowind 1000 for a great outdoor wood burning furnace!"
Our family purchased a Shaver Thermowind 1000 Forced Air Wood Furnace about one year ago. I have asthma and was finding the use of a traditional, indoor wood stove to be unbearable. Before we owned an outdoor wood furnace, our house always smelled like the wood stove. Plus, we spent a lot of time carrying and loading messy wood into our house. No longer! Now, with our new Thermowind 1000 all of the mess, smoke and smell is outside where it belongs! So far, the unit has worked flawlessly, once we had it all up and running. Install was pretty easy too due to the unique forced-air system and the people at Shaver were great to work with. They offer a 20 year parts and labor warranty that seems to be one of the best in the business, based on our research. I have already recommended this brand and model to several friends and do so with confidence that they will enjoy it as much as our family has.
