What are the 10 Best Wood Furnaces?
HeatMaster is a family-owned company that was founded in 2001.
HeatMaster notes that it has a strong environmental commitment. Among other programs, the company's facility is heated by an outdoor furnace and participates in a recycling initiative.
HeatMaster's MF standard efficiency wood furnace is compatible with your existing heat system. The stainless steel products are built for durability and longevity, while the firebox features a round design that is intended to more efficiently transfer heat than other designs. The rocker grate, ash pan and firebox door all are designed for easy access and clean-up, while the door also is made with safety features such as a latch so the door never swings completely open and risk exposing the homeowner to the hot interior temperatures.
The MF eSeries high-efficiency wood furnaces are designed to meet the same features of the standard MF models, while using up to 30 percent less wood. This is made possible through two features. A secondary air injection system uses a blower that sends air into the firebox through two ducts and dampers. The secondary heat exchange bypass re-burns the heat up to three times to ensure maximum heat and efficiency.
Finally, the ultra-efficient G Series wood furnace reportedly burns 50-percent less wood than standard efficiency units and significantly exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency's Phase 2 emission limits. These units feature a smoke bypass system that keeps smoke inside even while the user loads more wood, and warning lights that alert the user to low temperatures or water and other diagnostic issues. In addition, this series can be used for indoor as well as outdoor applications.
All of HeatMaster's products carry a limited lifetime warranty that covers workmanship and corrosion. See your dealer for specific warranty details.
