Overview of the MF

The Heatmaster MF Series is a wood furnace with a heating capacity of 250,000 BTU's and a water capacity of 150 gallons. Along with wood, the furnace can burn coal and most types of bio-mass. It is manufactured with 409 stainless steel for optimal durability and heat transfer, and heavy duty double wall insulation helps improve efficiency. A large round firebox provides better heat transfer and extra strength, and a dual firebox door latch protects the user from exposure to excessive heat. The starting price of the MF Series is $7,495.00.

"Love My Heatmaster MF5000"
Had my mf5000 since January 2011. Only problem I had was my ash pan corroded away after 1-1/2 yrs. Being a machinist I just fabricated a new one from stainless steel myself. Other than that it has been fairly flawless. I love the money savings on my heat bill and my wife loves the endless hot water when she uses her Jacuzzi tub.

"About our wood-furnace experience"
In our area there were many different brands to choose from, they included Earth, Heatmaster and Classic as well as the Hardy. We chose the Heatmaster based on overall value and type of construction plus the dealer and manufacturer reps were simply the best. Would buy another one tomorrow. I recommend to friends and family whenever I can.

"Ashes to Ashes"
I spoke with other outdoor wood furnace owners and shopped around before making the investment in the Heatmaster mf 5000 in 2010. I liked the design of the round stainless steel burn chamber and above all the grate and ash pan at the bottom of the chamber sold me. My neighbors have to reach way back in to their stoves and struggle to remove ashes. I Do it with relative ease. Dave's Sawmill Sales in Harrodsburg, KY provides great service. They are a trustworthy company to do business with. The only thing I have ever had to do to my stove is replace a fan motor which is relatively inexpensive. I think I would buy the same stove again.

"Heatmaster Outdoor Wood Furnace"
I have had my Heatmaster for 5 years now, I love the furnace. It is simple to operate, and with the difference in price of propane compared to wood it has paid for itself in the first four years. I would highly recommend the Heatmaster series to anyone who is wanting to heat their home with wood.

"Fantastic Heat"
We have been using our outdoor Heat Master furnace for 4 years now and we love the heat that we get from our stove. We have struggled for years to heat our century old stone home, and this solved our heating issues. The house is always warm and we have had no problems with the furnace. The service is great form our dealer and it was installed quickly and professionally. We have had folks drive in the yard inquiring about our stove and we have been more than happy to tell them that we love it. We would recommend this brand to anyone who is shopping for an outdoor wood burning stove!

"Heatmaster MF 5000"
I am a homeowner and bought a heatmaster mf 5000 in 2008. I heat about 2500 square ft., Heat my water and a 1400 square ft. Shop. Heat master is a very simple unit to operate and maintain. The only problems I had since 2008 is ash pan rusted out, which heat master replaced at no cost and I replaced thermostat in 2015. Door gasket is needing replacement, which I will replace before I fire it up. Unit was easy to hook up and didn't need a professional. I am planning on building a new home in the future and I will look at buying another heat master boiler.

I really like the ash clean in my stove verses my friends , that has the auger system. How my stove will burn all different types wood and the wood does not have to be perfectly dry. The only dislike is ,it is hard to read the led display on the side of my stove. Yes I would buy this brand again, but it would the next size up.

"Money well spent!!"
Awesome furnace! The most efficient wood furnace I've been around. Load it once in the morning before work and top it off before going to bed, always wood left. Just set the desired water temp and keep wood in it, that's it! Cleaning the ash pan is effortless and not required often. I would definitely buy this furnace again and have recommended to my friends who have also purchased these wood furnaces, no complaints yet.

"Best Investment I Ever Made"
Purchasing my Heatmaster wood furnace was the best investment I ever made. Before my Heamaster mf 5000 I was spending approximately $3,000.00 per year on propane to heat my house, hot water and range. After installing my Heatmaster wood furnace to heat my house and hot water, my propane bill dropped to less than $350.00 per year. The entire system paid for itself in less than 3 years. Most of all my wife can have the house as warm as she wants it to be and we never run out of hot water. The service I receive from Mike and Amy Baird is exceptional. Great product and great service!

"Heat Master, should be named Heat Monster"
My Heat Master out door furnace provides heat that is hot as a volcano! This furnace should be called the "heat Monster," my thermostat is at 70' degrees, but inside my home it feels like a hot 90 degrees! Hopefully I never need to heat with propane again, my stove provides a hot warm air that makes my home feel warm and cozy all through winter! Thank you Heat Master!

Very impressed with the Heatmaster rear blower system, had a previous front blower system and could not keep fire going constantly. Much improved system lite our fire in October and burned continually to May, never had to lite the fire once. More than I can say for our old system. Would replace this one with another Heatmaster, but only 2 years old so hope that won't happen soon.

"Heatmaster MF series are the perfect stove"
I own a mf 5000, have used it the last 3 winter's. I love this stove. With the setup options I have and ease of usability it's a very user friendly unit that let's me set it up to be the most efficient I can make it for temps and wood types that vary. Very good quality and heavy construction. I've recommended Heatmaster to multiple people who've purchased similar models and they are just as satisfied as I am. Coming from another supposed top brand stove I was pleasantly surprised when I first began using this unit. I would definitely buy Heatmaster again.

This unit will pay for itself within a few years.

"Master of Heat"
This Heatmaster wood furnace is absoulty by far the best investment I ever made. It doesn't use much would compared to other wood eating furnaces. There is nothing that I disliked about it except that I have to cut the wood to put in it. Lol. On the other hand, it's good exercise and keeps me physically fit! I would highly recommend it to others looking to buy a wood furnace. Matter of fact, I have sold about 6 through word of mouth and have had men come to my house to look at it. I have had great service and would definitely purchase another Heatmaster as fast as you can spell "rumplestilskin ".

"Satisfied customer"
I have owned this unit 9 years and have been very satisfied with the performance and quality of the unit. The only trouble I have ever had was this last year the steel ash pan was rusting out. I understand the new ash pans are made of stainless steel so there should never be a problem with them. The rest of the unit is made from 409 stainless steel. If I ever need to replace the furnace I now have, I would purchase the same brand and the new "G" series which is much more environmentally cleaner and efficient.

"Heatmaster Service vs Mahoning"
On one 16 deg. December night my Mahoning water chamber began leaking. A call direct to Mahoning assured me they would not be able to service the unit until mid January. A neighbor welded the unit to get me thru the rest of the winter. Since then I purchased a mf-5000 series from Horn Enterprises in Springville, PA. I've had the occasion to contact them twice in the last two years and they are very quick to respond to service or recommend a solution to my problem, once not related to the stove but my location near a stream causing some creosote build up.

5 years running. Only problem was a pin hole leak around the door weld last year. I hired someone to fix it and sent the bill to Heatmaster (SteelTech) which was reimbursed fully in a reasonable amount of time. Solid (dual) pumps and fan so far. Heating approximately 4,000 sq. Ft. With additional coil in pole barn. No problems. Love the heat.

I needed a new furnace, and 3 friends ran the mf 3000-5000 models, my other brand just could not compete so I switched, and I push this model 3000 to all my friends and family, it heats my hot water, garage and house, some day I will convert my hot tub as well, Being September 2/17 and 0.7c out at 6 am I'm glad my furnace is out back smoldering away, and I am here enjoying my morning coffee in a cozy drafty old house, wouldn't want it any other way, cheers Heat Master and thanks for the top shelf furnace, that I was able to afford on my pension, no joke, it has been one less worry in a stressful time

"Heatmaster MF 20000E"
Very easy to run, very efficient on fuel (wood) consumption, it burns everything thrown into it and I don't have to be particular about how the wood gets stacked into it. By far the best furnace I have ever had, and this is the third brand I have had. This furnace follows the basic rule that other manufacturers should look at - KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. The only thing that I might have against this furnace is the panel for reading the temperature is up so high that you need a stool to get up to read it. I would buy this furnace again tomorrow if something major happened to it that wasn't due to a defect.
