Overview of the MF

The Heatmaster MF Series is a wood furnace with a heating capacity of 250,000 BTU's and a water capacity of 150 gallons. Along with wood, the furnace can burn coal and most types of bio-mass. It is manufactured with 409 stainless steel for optimal durability and heat transfer, and heavy duty double wall insulation helps improve efficiency. A large round firebox provides better heat transfer and extra strength, and a dual firebox door latch protects the user from exposure to excessive heat. The starting price of the MF Series is $7,495.00.

"Heatmaster MF 20000E"
Very easy to run, very efficient on fuel (wood) consumption, it burns everything thrown into it and I don't have to be particular about how the wood gets stacked into it. By far the best furnace I have ever had, and this is the third brand I have had. This furnace follows the basic rule that other manufacturers should look at - KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. The only thing that I might have against this furnace is the panel for reading the temperature is up so high that you need a stool to get up to read it. I would buy this furnace again tomorrow if something major happened to it that wasn't due to a defect.

"Sticky damper"
The damper attached to the electric actuator has stuck twice and caused over-boils. Both times the stove was clean but had coals blow back up through the air chamber and get caught. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
