Showing 1-5 of 20 reviews
Our Rheem classic 10 years old it still looks like new and performs like new I've never had any issues with it I hose it off in the spring, and fall I put a tarp on top for the winter I was an industrial painter the paint on this unit still looks like new we have a high eff furnace 90 plus never an issue plus a Rheem tankless water heater all fantastic 10 years later.
"Rheem doesn't stand by their product"
I have a Rheem Classic 2 Ton Model ra1624aj1na and its only 2 years old and already the compressor failed. Since its passed the 90 days I have to pay for all the labor cost to have the new compressor installed. This is not fair and I should not have to pay a dime for a unit that is not ever older than 2 years. What type of company is this????
"Rheem AC units are terrible"
Rheem Air Conditioning units are terrible. I purchased my Rheem unit Model # rf1p2421spanjan00 & ra1624aj1na in September 2015 and already had to replace the compressor unit after only 2 years. Though the compressor was covered I had to pay another $800 for labor and parts to install the unit. This is a terrible company that doesn't stand by their units and doesn't cover all the cost. Why should I pay $4000 to replace my old unit with the exact same one then have to pay another $800 only 2 years later???? I never write into reviews but in this case I'm so upset that it just cost me another $800 and the company doesn't even care. I'm not blaming the company that installed the unit because it had nothing to do with them it has to all do with the company Rheem. Now I know why Rheem is ranked towards the bottom of the list for ac units.
"A LA LEMON"
Go to store and buy a bag of lemons and you have a Rheem.
"Installed 30 days ago and still not working"
I had a new Rheem air unit installed 30 days ago. It has not worked since day one. The air tech has been to my house and has no idea what is wrong with it. Don't buy a Rheem! It's a 2 1/2 ton 14 SEER w/10 kW, I don't think I have the series and model number correct, I can't read the tech's hand writing.
