Quietside brand inverter-driven minisplit heat pumps were available for single or multiple zone coverage. Ranging from 9,000 to 36,000 BTU, high-efficiency units reached up to 22 SEER. Certain systems were Energy Star rated. All featured an “Auto Clean” setting that dried the unit’s interior components when not in operation in order to prevent the growth of mold. The company also sold 13 SEER single-zone high wall units that featured the Toshiba R410A rotary compressor, which the distributor said was known for its reliability and efficiency. Additional features included a dry mode for humidity removal, a sleep mode to match the ambient temperature to the sleepers’ body temperature and a preheat setting to ensure heat pumps didn’t blow out cold air as they reached optimum temperatures.
A 5-year compressor warranty and 1-year parts warranty was standard for each of Quietside’s heating and cooling units.
