Corporate History
Quadra-Fire was founded in 1986 by Alan Trusler and Dan Henry, and is headquartered in Colville, WA. Trusler and Henry developed the “quad burn system” (from which the company name derives) as a response to tougher wood-burning regulations put in place by the US Environmental Protection Agency. In both 2006 and 2009, Quadra-Fire stoves earned top honors at the Hearth Industry awards ceremony.
Product Lines
Quadra-Fire not only manufactures wood and pellet stoves, but their product line also includes gas stoves, fireplaces and inserts, mantels and accessories. Quadra Fire’s newest pellet stove, the Edge 60, was awarded the top Green Award for Hearth products in 2009 and Quadra-fire claims that it’s one of the best pellet stoves in the industry.
Warranty
Home and Hearth Technology extends warranties on behalf of their brands, including Quadra-Fire. The warranty agreement begins on the date of purchase or on the date of when the dwelling is first occupied. In the case of new home construction, the limited lifetime warranty covers gas appliances for 20 years and wood, pellet and coal appliances for 10 years.
