Corporate History
Polar Furnace has been manufacturing wood furnaces and boilers since 2000. The company’s products are designed to heat homes, business and farms. Polar Furnace is a member of Wood Heat Organization, which promotes the responsible use of wood in home heating, and the Hearth, Patio and Barbeque Organization, which promotes the interests of the hearth products industry in North America.
Product Lines
The company produces two lines of furnaces: The G-Class gasifier furnace, and a Standard Updraft unit. The G-Class has an efficiency of up to 86% and comes in three sizes: The G2, with a heating capacity of 60,000 BTU; the G2 Plus, a 100,000 BTU unit; and the G3, which produces 140,000 BTU.
There are four models of Standard Updraft units: Regular 5 (RG-5), a 21,000 BTU unit; Medium 9 (MD-9), which produces 55,000 BTU; Large 15 (LG-15), with a capacity of 140,000 BTU; and the Commercial 32 (COM-32), with a heating capacity of 400,000 BTU.
Warranty
Each G-Class and Updraft furnace comes with a 15-year warranty, which includes 100% coverage against leaks for 4 years if a unit needs to be repaired or replaced.
