Reviews by Wood Stove Series
HWS-224172MHsant Hearth specializes in manufacturing and selling wood and pellet stoves, electric fireplaces and accessories. The brand is owned by the privately-held GHP Group Inc, which is based in the USA. Their products are sold at most major home centers, hardware stores and internet retailers across North America.
Corporate History
The GHP Group was incorporated in 2003, and owns several other home products brands including Dyna-Glo, Greenway and Vitapur.
Product Lines
Pleasant Hearth’s line of EPA certified wood stoves feature a glass viewing area, and range in capacity from 25,000 to 100,000 BTUs. These non-catalytic units can be paired with a blower (sold separately) to distribute heat farther from the stove.
Pleasant Hearth pellet stoves are also EPA certified, and include a blower to distribute heat. As you move from the smallest stove to the largest, the primary difference is the number of BTUs that the stoves output, and how large their hoppers are (which translates directly into how long the stove can burn without being refilled).
Warranty
Pleasant Hearth warrants that its products are free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of five years from the date of sale. The warranty is extended to the original owner only. Glass is covered under thermal breakage only. Plated parts will not be covered. Any labor or other related costs or expenses arising from defective parts, repair, replacement or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty. If warranty service is required, please contact GHP Group Customer Service, with your sales receipt and your model and serial number. Do not attempt to service the unit yourself as this will void the warranty.
