Stay away from Payne/Carrier/Bryant product, they are all made by the same company. We installed our furnace in fall of 2009. In October of 2016 (7 years later) the secondary heat exchanger cracked. We did not have carbon monoxide detectors but my Wife had noticed a strange smell in the house. The cracked secondary heat exchanger was a factory recall and they replaced the part, but we were still on the hook for over $1000.00 in labour. Three weeks after that we now sit in our cold house and it turns out the computer board in the furnace needs to be replaced. This is going to cost us $600.00. They make garbage, stay away.

"Four Payne Furnaces in 2008"
I had four (4) Payne pg9m furnaces installed in the summer of 2008. They went through the 2008/2009 winter without any problems. I am in wi, (in ‘light’ heating season now) without any problems so far.
