The NY Thermal Trinity Fire Tube (Tft) is a stainless steel gas boiler with an AFUE of up to 95%. It features a wall-mount configuration with an optional floor stand. There are 9 models of the Tft ranging from 60,000 to 399,000 BTU/hr. The unit uses a down-fired, stainless steel heat exchanger and stainless steel internal water piping. The Tft provides vent runs up to 150 feet, 2-inch venting on some models, and plumbing and gas connections at either the top or bottom. The Tft features an advanced Sola controller with an iflex interface, which uses a Windows-like touchscreen with color coded alerts and common language to allow for easy troubleshooting.
I have owned my gas boiler for about three years and over that time, it has done what I've needed it to do. It's pretty easy to operate once you understand it, and no one in my family has ever had any trouble with operating it. The biggest problem I have with this machine is that it's broken down at least once a year for each year I've owned it, including this one. The repairs went well and were fairly inexpensive, but for a product this young, you wouldn't expect it to break down as much as it has. As I said, the repairs were not that expensive. I could chalk all of the repairs up as "normal maintenance" of the machine. I would be a little bit more upset about how many repairs I've had to do, but I've noticed how many have had worse problems with this brand, so I consider myself lucky. The boiler does its job and I am happy enough with it. However, I don't think that I would suggest it to anyone I know.
