"Indoor units rip water, installer unreachable"

2.0 rating
Somewhat Unsatisfied

Unit installed August 2015: 1 Mr. Slim unit outdoor and 4 indoor units. When we switch from cooling to heating, the indoor units steam up the room like a sauna and drip water. Now it is time to replace filters and I don't know where to buy the replacements. The installer does not answer phone calls or email. Tony Vick, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Compressor broke after 7 years, it cost $2000. Electronic broke after 8 years, cost $1000 for the cards only. Very disappointed.

"Piece of junk"

We had one installed in a 13×13 room. It has never cooled properly and in the winter, we have to run an electric heater to help heat the room. Room was built by us, so we know it was insulated over, under and all walls. We have had Freon added this season and were told there is a leak and the unit may have to be replaced. Installed in 2009.

We have had our Zuba throughout a Canadian winter and a hot summer. It has never let us down. It costs about $200 a month in the coldest weather (-20's) and about $30 a month during the hot summer months. We did notice we have to change the filter often…but otherwise the system is excellent!

"Poor performance"

Very Unsatisfied

Installed hyper heat multi zone. Constantly goes into defrost mode and it's noisy. A Mitsubishi tech finally came down but would not touch the unit. Had to have my heating guy do everything. After three times they still do not function correctly. They tell me this is normal operation. Should have gone with Fujitsu like I had in my other house.
