"Unbelievably Bad"

I bought an expensive model home in central Florida. It was built in 2012 -2013 and was touted by LG that it has the state of the art mini-split HVAC. There is an outside unit and 5 attic high static units in our 4,600 sq. Foot highly insulated home. We were the first owners and moved in during October 2014. The system worked well for a while, and then the horror began. Each attic system would develop a leak, which then drained the refrigerant from the entire system. Some replacement units lasted slightly over a year. I have spent over $17,000 in the past few months, and can't even get a return phone call or email from the Florida LG rep. My neighbor, who has a similar unit of the same age, today replaced his LG system at a huge cost.

"Poor, poor, poor"

We have 3 indoor units which will supposedly heat our home. Wrong. At best, we can get 2 running and often only 1 will operate properly. We have spent thousands of dollars trying to get these things running and LG Canada has been a complete joke. Totally useless tech support, and the refuse to stand behind their product line or even send out a technician to diagnose the problems(s). Stay away from LG Canada.

"System Sucks"

I didn't make this very unsatisfied because when it runs, the system does a good job. I have had problems though from the beginning with communications error. I once had to replace a sensor that cost a lot given the unit was two months old. I then learned the system is not warrantied. Really! I was told that is true of all ac systems. The company from whom I bought the system did reimburse me for the part and labor. This system though is one year old and this last month I have been plagued with communication errors. The tech support people at LG are always polite and try to be helpful but they cannot make up for a sorry system. GIven all the bad reviews LG gets for these systems, you would think they would be trying to get them fixed or replace them.

I am on my third year and it has never reached temp. I can set it to 30 degrees and the most I have ever gotten out of it is 21 and that is only if the temp outside is above the freezing temp. If it drops below my inside temp will go from 15 to 17 degrees and on a real cold day it has dropped to 12 inside my home. The machine is bad enough but just as bad is the company that sold it and the service given. The only time they will come out is if I go the shop and put is a fuss. The last tech had the nerve to tell me that the battery in my remote only had 2 bars and that could be the problem. I was pissed…how stupid does he think people are. I have wasted $4000 because I am now again using my electric heat and I can't get rid of it because I now have a hole in the side of my house. My advice to anyone considering this machine should run far and run fast and do not look back

"Very poor service."

Very poor service, there is no emergency service for break downs on the weekends. Also have been waiting for service call for the last 3 1/2 months on one matter.
