Lennox XP15 Heat Pump Overview

The Lennox XP15 heat pump offers high efficiency heating and cooling up to 16.7 SEER and 9 HSPF. Advertised by the manufacturer as the “quietest heat pump you can buy,” the XP15 features cooling operation as low as 63 db.

This model includes the Lennox System Operation Monitoring, which constantly monitors the unit in order to provide quick and easy diagnostics for a technician. Additional components include a heavy gauge, pre-painted steel cabinet; scroll compressor; high efficiency outdoor coil; a soft operating fan; and noise-suppressing fan grill.

The XP15 is compatible with Lennox’s Humidor whole system dehumidification system for increased air quality and climate control. It is also Energy Star-qualified, and carries the Good Housekeeping promise.

Very Unsatisfied

The biggest mistake I made when building my house was installing Lennox heat pumps. I have 3 xp15 signature units ($ 18000). I have had numerous service calls. The most recent for a refrigerant leak (unit is less than 3 yrs old). I have replaced the motherboard & compressor before. Hell will freeze over before I purchase another Lennox item of any sort & I will do anything to dissuade anyone from purchasing any Lennox products. Any questions email me.

XP15 Warranty

Lennox provides a 10-year limited warranty on the compressor and all remaining components. No registration is required to receive the full coverage, although the warranty only applies to residential consumers. Extended warranties are available for equipment installed after May 2009 but must be registered online within 60 days of installation.
