The Lennox ML195 is a single-stage gas furnace with an efficiency rating of 95% AFUE. It features a Duralok Plus heat exchanger made of patented ArmorTuf aluminized steel and a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger. A durable silicon nitride SureLight Ignitor provides reliable performance, and a SureLight integrated control board fully controls and monitors the system. It has a steel cabinet with a textured paint finish and a sealed blower cabinet which reduces heat loss and operating noise. The ML195 is dual-fuel compatible and can be paired with a Lennox heat pump to alternate between electricity and gas for increased efficiency.
When equipment works it works great, but of the 6 years we have had it, we have had repairs every winter. 4 x the Limit Switch went, now the control main board needs to be replaced. Had to pay each time for warranty repair. The part was covered but not the labor
"No Identifying Bage"
We had a new Lennox gas furnace installed and tried to fill out the warranty information. In spite of an exhaustive search and time on the phone with a customer service agent (who could care less), there was no identifying badge to be found, the one with serial and model number. Not at all sure why this should be so hard to find, it is a gas furnace in the basement, not a Mercedes. Very poor customer service.
"Decent repalcement for Lennox Pulse"
We got this to replace a Lennox Pulse 21. This unit has worked almost without problems, except for a bad installation by a local contractor. They did not upgrade the exhaust pipe as they should have, and for a while the unit would cut out and never reach temperature, in heating or cooling. Technician came and did something up, there, I don’t remember, but since then it has worked well, even with a narrow diameter exhaust pipe. I am a maintenance person writing this on behalf of the property owners.
"Has worked well since we lived here"
We moved into our new home about five years ago. Since then there have been some really brutal winters here and so far the furnace has held up quite nicely. Even on the coldest nights we have always been comfortable in our home. The people we bought the house from told us that they’d had it worked on a couple years earlier but that was many years ago. We usually try to close up some of the vents to keep our bedroom warmer at night and let the rest of the house be cooler to keep costs down. But whenever we need the whole house to be warmed up it has no problem working long hard hours to do that. I can’t think of any complaints for it. Hopefully it can handle many more of these rough Midwest winters. Or better yet, maybe the next few winters can be a little more tame.

"My experience with my Lennox home furnace, Merit Series Ml195 gas furnace"
My family and I have had this furnace for approximately 4 years. We chose this furnace when we had our home built. We made the choice to purchase this particular furnace because of reviews that we read online. Employees that we talked to at different stores and some of our acquaintances had this particular model. One of the things I like about this furnace is that it is extremely efficient when it comes to energy; it is rated at having a 95% efficiency rating, I love that. It saves us quite a bit of money. I also love that it is stainless steel. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this furnace. It serves its purpose for us and we have never had any problems with it at all. I would definitely buy this furnace again if I had the choice; I wouldn’t hesitate one bit about purchasing this furnace in the future. I’ve already recommended this furnace to many of my friends who are in the market for a new furnace. It’s always my #1 choice.
