The Lennox 13ACX is an energy efficient air conditioner with an efficiency rating that meets or exceeds 13.00 SEER. Its direct drive fan is designed for longer product life, and its quieter operation keeps sound levels as low as 76 dB. A high efficiency outdoor coil provides increased heat transfer and low air resistance for more efficient operation. The cabinet is constructed of heavy-gauge galvanized steel with a baked-on powder finish to protect against rust and corrosion. The 13ACX is designed to work with the Humiditrol whole-home dehumidification system to help maintain optimal moisture levels.
Avoid Lennox. Condensor coil leak with less than 4 years usage. The class action settlement is useless unless it leaks a second time. $1200 repair bill for labor. I would not buy a lennox unit.

Same as all others, condenser coil leak. Warranty covers part, but labor cost is mine. I would not need labor if unit worked as I hoped when purchased, 4 years ago. Never do business with Lennox again. Look elsewhere!

Condensor coil leak. Installed June 25, 2013. Absolute piece of crap, be warned! Cost over $1,400 in labor charges, even though parts were covered.

"New homeowner, builder supplied this unit – do not buy"
5.0 rating

Had I actually been able to look up reviews and pick a unit instead of it being provided by the builder, I would never have bought this unit. The reviews are all terrible, and the only good one(s) look like they were written by someone from the company. I've had it 4 years now and had to have it serviced 5 times now. Found out recently it had an un diagnosed leak all this time. It did the job when it was new, but obviously you can only pump so much refrigerant and charge it up so many times before even that doesn't work. This is first year I've been outside the builders warranty and have had to use the Lennox warranty. They do offer a 5 year warranty, which is not bad. But to get in touch you need to wait on hold for quite awhile, mine was about 30 minutes. Other reviews say hours. I don't mind waiting but that's pretty bad, and going by other reviews has been an ongoing issue, that they clearly have no interest in resolving. I was lucky enough to have a pleasant representative however.

"16 month condensor and evaporator coil"

Very Unsatisfied
Bought the brand new house. 16 months later the evaporator had a Freon leak. I found out through research this evaporator coil was recalled. Had to have it replaced, part of class action suit, had to pay for labor and coil was no charge. Awaiting class action suit to reimburse me for evaporator coil labor. 2 days later, the condenser coil had a leak and a bad compressor. The condenser coil and compressor parts are under warranty, not labor. Have had to pay almost 1k so far. Piece of crap, never, ever, buy Lennox.
