In 1977, the Kenmore name replaced Coldspot as Sears’ brand name on air conditioners. Kenmore HVAC products have been made by a number of other companies, including manufacturers, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Keeprite, LG and Friedrich. Today, Kenmore appliances are sold exclusively through Sears, Sears on-line and retail outlets.
