The HeatMaster G Series is a gasification wood furnace approved for indoor and outdoor installation. The gasification process reduces wood consumption, and its low maintenance design allows easy loading and cleaning. It is available in water capacities of 100, 195 and 250 gallons and a heating capacity of up to 350,000 BTU. The unit is constructed of 409 stainless steel for greater heat transfer and tolerance and features heavy duty multi-layer insulation. An insulated hinged rear door provides easy access to the rear of the furnace, and a dual firebox door latch is designed for safety. The 2016 starting price of the G Series wood furnace is $8,495.00.
As winter number two approaches for my HeatMaster ss g200 I thought I would give an update. Having done outdoor boiler installs three years in a row, I am glad not having to do it a fourth time. Just a couple of minor items to work out, adjusting the loading door for a better seal and adjusting the cycle time in between calls for heat to help re-firing in mild temps. The efficiency and lack of smoke out the stack is great but what really impresses me is the customer support I have received from HeatMaster. Any piece of equipment can have problems but how a company stands behind their product is what sets them apart and HeatMaster has been exceptional. I would buy a HeatMaster G series again but hopefully won't have to.
"Plenty of Hot Water"
We have a large family. With nine children, hot water goes fast and we've had to be creative to make sure everyone could get a hot shower. In the fall of 2015 we bought the Heatmaster g400 outdoor wood burning furnace. We primarily purchased it for heat in the winter since my wife was less than happy with the "cool heat" our all electric home produced. We were down to only six of the kids still at home but four of them are girls and in their teems or just pre-teen. And then a wonderful thing happened. I slept in one day and was the last to get a shower and it was hot! I had a hot shower after a morning of five women all getting their own hot shower! I now look forward to colder weather so I can fire up the furnace, not just to stay warm, but to have unlimited hot water. Love my furnace.
I have a 2 year old g200 wood boiler and have burnt about 21 face cords of mixed soft and hard fire wood each winter to heat approximately 3,000 square feet of building and the domestic hot water. In my opinion I consider that to be quite efficient. The unit is easy to operate and maintain. The company stands by their product, are very knowledgeable and the same can be said about the local representative serving my region. The only disappointment thus far was the quality of the refractory brick but the company is replacing them at their expense. I would definitely buy another Heatmaster boiler and am recommending that product to friends and family

"Super Outdoor Furnace"
I am most satisfied with my Heatmaster outdoor furnace. It has been installed three years, so I will be starting on my fourth year using it. It has proven to be a very consistent heat and has a very positive impact on my electric bill. Anytime, I have need information or supplies, my local dealer has been most helpful with whatever I have needed. I would highly recommend a HeatMaster furnace to others.
"Very happy with my Heatmaster"
I have owned my Heatmaster ss8000 since 2008, it has been great. It is very efficient, plus I have ready hot coals to grill with. This will be our ninth year and it has been problem free
Online comments regarding the G Series seem to be mostly positive. Most responses to a homeowner on outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com who was thinking of buying one were very positive and said that it is a great unit, though a couple did mention that gasification units require more care than conventional units.
