HTP MC Boiler Overview

The HTP MC is a discontinued ultra-high efficiency condensing gas-fired boiler. Formerly known as the Munchkin Contender, the MC had an efficiency rating of up to 94% AFUE and was Energy Star rated. It was a wall-mounted unit, easily convertible from natural gas to propane, and featured a 316L stainless steel heat exchanger and a direct spark ignition system. The MC had built-in direct hot water priority and outdoor air reset capability, with ultra-low NOx emissions. All mechanical connections were on the bottom of the unit for easy servicing, with the ability to cascade up to 8 units. The unit’s cabinet was constructed of dent-resistant lightweight plastic.
