Hallmark Manufacturer Overview
The Hallmark brand of warm air furnaces is manufactured by Boyertown Furnace Co, a privately held company located in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Boyertown markets several lines of oil-fired heating equipment for residential, commercial and industrial use.
Corporate History
The Hallmark Furnace has been manufactured since 1939 when Frank Wilhelm founded the family-owned Atlantic Heating and Cooling Co. in Baltimore. The Boyertown Furnace Co. acquired the company Atlantic and took over the production of the Hallmark Furnace in 1980. At that time, the production facilities were moved to Boyertown, PA, and by 1992 had doubled in size.
Product Lines
Boyertown Furnace Co. manufactures the furnace brands Hallmark and Regal for residential use and the Cox brand for commercial use. The company prides itself in the simple serviceability of this oil-fired furnace. Hallmark furnace models include the lowboy, highboy, horizontal and counterflow models and range in efficiency from 80% AFUE to 84% AFUE. They are available with ECM variable-speed motors, and each furnace comes with a front and rear flue. Externally mounted controls and burners allow technicians full access. Each Hallmark furnace is air-conditioning compatible and features high-efficiency burners.
Warranty
Hallmark furnaces warrant that the equipment will be free from defects in workmanship or material for a period of 5 years. The company also offers a limited lifetime warranty on its heat exchangers. Registration of the product is required to meet the warranty terms.
