Goodman GDS8 Furnace Overview
The Goodman GDS8 is a base model gas furnace that has an 80 percent AFUE rating. This unit is single-stage and multi-speed, and has a downflow installation. The GDS8 features an aluminized-steel heat exchanger and an electronic control board that allows an owner or technician to view a code to diagnose most problems. Each Goodman furnace is tested at the manufacturing facility to ensure proper operation before it is shipped to the dealer.
