EverRest Extreme Comfort is a manufacturer of residential heating and air conditioning equipment. EverRest Extreme Comfort is a private label brand of Goodman Manufacturing, which is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and is owned by the Japan-based Daikin Industries. Daikin had sales of approximately $18.4 billion in 2017.

Goodman Manufacturing was founded by air conditioning contractor Harold Goodman in 1975. Goodman purchased Janitrol in 1982 and the Amana brand in 1997. Apollo Management, a private investment firm, purchased Goodman in 2004 for approximately $1.4 billion. Goodman was purchased in August 2012 by Daikin.
EverRest’s line of air conditioners ranges from the 13 SEER GSC13 and GSX13 to the two-stage 18 SEER DSXC18. Heat pumps are available in 14, 16 and 18 SEER models, with the 2-stage DSZC18 their top of the line heat pump at 18 SEER/9.5 HSPF.
EverRest offers a wide selection of gas furnaces ranging from 80% AFUE units to several 90+% high-efficiency units, including the GMVM97 and the GCVM97, which both feature efficiencies of up to 97% AFUE.
The warranty on EverRest products varies according to each unit, with every EverRest brand product protected by a limited warranty on all functional parts. This parts warranty ranges from 5 to 10 years. Select air conditioners and heat pumps also feature a 10-year replacement warranty and a lifetime compressor warranty. Select furnaces offer a 10-year replacement warranty, and all units are covered by a lifetime heat exchanger warranty.
