Corporate History

England’s Stove Works was established in 1976 by Bob and Ron England. They produced their first steel wood stoves in the 1970s. In the 1980s England’s Stove Works started to work on pellet stoves and — according to Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association — was “one of the top (if not the top) manufacturer of pellet stoves in the United States”. Their factory includes 100,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and manufacturing facilities with burn laboratory for testing new products.

England’s Stove Works launched their first website in 1999, and both the Englander and Summer’s Heat brands of stove were promoted on that site. Sister brand Timber Ridge was first promoted in 2002.

Product Lines

Recent product offerings include European-influenced wood units, contemporary-styled pellet stoves, pellet/multi-fuel burners and patented grills, combined with smokers.

The company provides technical support in English, Spanish and French for Canadian customers.
