Eagle Mountain is a manufacturer of geothermal heat systems, as well as other green technology. The company is privately owned and is headquartered in Canandaigua, NY.
Corporate History
In 1978, Eagle Mountain was founded as a small commercial construction company. By the mid-1980’s they were installing solar systems, and in 1987 they began installing geothermal systems. The company began distributing their products nationally in 2001.
Eagle Mountain’s dedication to the environment includes building the Center for Green Technology, a 21,000 square foot training and education facility dedicated to green construction techniques. The facility incorporates green technologies and uses no more energy than a 3,500 square foot home.
Product Lines
The company’s geothermal heat pumps are sold under the GEOMAX name and are available in Horizontal Loop, Vertical Loop, Pond Loop, and Open Systems. There are five GEOMAX series – Everest (the top-of-the-line series, with 3 heating and 2 cooling stages), Cascade, Rainier, Sierra, and Denali (the most economical system). All series are available in multiple sizes, and most sizes are Energy Star rated.
Warranty
Eagle Mountain offers a standard 18-month warranty on GEOMAX heat pump systems, with 5- and 10-year warranties available for purchase.
