The Ducane CG95 is a discontinued single-stage gas furnace. The CG95 was Energy Star rated, with an efficiency of 95.0% AFUE and a capacity of 40,000 to 100,000 BTU/hr. It was equipped with an ECM variable speed blower which provided quiet operation, and an aluminized steel heat exchanger was designed for increased durability. The steel cabinet with a baked-on finish added durability and increased safety.
Had issues with system when it was installed had the pressure switch replaced multiple times found a different company that installs the same brand of ducane and they replaced the pressure switch and circuit board the issue with the units wasn’t just the pressure switch found out if you don’t replace the board with the switch the unit would give out again just a bad batch that has been working ever since I will never be unfaithful with a “brand again” after this experience it shows if you find a company that knows what they are doing you will be in good hands don’t shop for the cheapest price or you would be in my Shoes find a company with a good reputation and be worry free! It’s all about the install!

"Don’t Buy Ducane"
1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied
When the furnace was less than two years old we had to replace the pressure switch. One month later we had to blow into the hose every day to get it running. I would never buy again: would rather pay more and have a reliable furnace. Such a disappointment.

I have read a lot of the negative reviews about Ducane. I feel compelled to reply because I install these furnaces. I have many units installed and have had very few problems. A few pressure switches have failed, and I find this in other brand name furnaces as well. If you are having problems with these furnaces look to the installer for the problem. Many of these guys do not take the time to properly install the unit, over or undersize the furnace, or are just inept. Warranty parts are never a problem at the wholesale level. Find a reputable company to install and service these units and you will most likely be satisfied.

"95% Ducane"

I read these reviews and laugh. It truly is the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Bought a new Ducane, the pressure switch issue that most complain that Lennox was responsible for has been taken care of, installed by a licensed contractor. The warranty is as good as Carrier and Trane but the key is the installer. If the furnace is installed properly you will get many years out of it – 20 years on the heat exchanger, 10 years on parts. Be sure to register your furnace online to meet registration requirements. It’s a great product. Like anything, it’s only as good as the contractor that you hire to install it.

"Bad installs ruin the Ducane name"
5.0 rating
Very Satisfied
Ducane has a bad name because of all the people who install furnaces wrong. They use the same parts as any furnace in the industry. Tell the truth, people – Ducane can run with the best.
There are very few reviews of the Ducane CG95 on HVAC forums. One consumer on justanswer.com needed help installing a new thermostat on the unit. A consumer on hvac-talk.com asked for help deciding between the Ducane CG95 and similar Carrier and Luxaire furnaces, with no definitive answer.
CG95 Warranty
The warranty for the Ducane CG95 is comprised of the following:
10-year warranty on parts
Lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger
