Ducane Manufacturer Overview
Ducane manufactures residential and light commercial air conditioners, heat pumps and gas and oil furnaces. Ducane is a part of the Allied Air division of Lennox and is headquartered in South Carolina. Lennox had gross revenues of approximately $3.84 billion in 2017.
Corporate History
The Ducane Co. was founded in Union City, N.J., in 1947. The company manufactured both HVAC equipment and grills and related accessories until Lennox purchased Ducane Co.’s Air Conditioning and Heating Division in 1999 for approximately $45 million.
Product Lines
Ducane’s top-of-the-line 90% and 80% AFUE gas furnace models — the 95G2V and 80G2V — feature two-stage, variable speed operation. Oil furnaces are available as lowboy, upflow and horizontal/counterflow and reach up to 83% AFUE.
Ducane offers central air conditioners and heat pumps that range from 13.0 to 18,0 SEER. Of Ducane’s ten series of air conditioners and heat pumps, six feature an Energy Star label.

Ducane offers a standard, limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchangers on all of its gas and oil furnaces, along with a 10-year limited parts warranty. Air conditioners have a 10-year warranty on the compressor and parts. Heat pumps have a 10-year limited warranty on the compressor and on components. Product registration is required to receive full warranty benefits.
