Concord Air Products produces gas and oil furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and air handlers. Concord is a part of Allied Air, which is a subsidiary of Lennox International. Lennox had revenue of approximately $3.84 billion in 2017.
Lennox International has a history dating back to 1895 when Dave Lennox sold his first furnace. In 1955 the company’s official name was changed from Lennox Furnace Company to Lennox Industries, Inc. In 1978 Lennox moved its world headquarters from Iowa to Dallas, Texas. In 1999 Lennox International became a public company.
Concord’s air conditioners have an efficiency ranging from 13 to 18 SEER. Heat pumps have an efficiency ranging from 13 SEER and 7.7 HSPF to 18 SEER and 9.2 HSPF. Features include defrost control on the heat pumps that kicks on with a minimum of noise, and single- and two-stage scroll compressors that are designed to provide quiet operation and humidity control.
The company offers constant torque gas furnaces at 80 and 95 percent AFUE. According to the manufacturer, the torque provides the energy-efficiency benefits of variable-speed ECM motors at a more cost-effective price. The technology also assists with quiet operation and good airflow. The company offers a range of other furnace options, from single- to two-stage to variable speed.
The manufacturer notes that each of its systems is 100 percent factory run-tested.
Most Concord products carry a 10-year limited warranty on parts. Furnaces have a lifetime heat exchanger warranty, while air conditioners and heat pumps have a 10-year compressor warranty. For the terms of your warranty to apply, the company requires that your product be registered within 60 days of installation. Unregistered products receive only a 5-year warranty.
