The Comfortmaker Performance is a single-stage, split system heat pump. Performance heat pumps are Energy Star qualified and are available with efficiencies of 13, 14 and 15 SEER and up to 8.5 HSPF. The unit has a scroll compressor and a copper tube/aluminum fin coil for efficient heat transfer. It also features a bi-flow filter drier, high and low pressure switches, and a solid state control with time-temperature defrost. The cabinet is constructed of galvanized steel with a baked-on powder coat finish for protection in all weather conditions.
I had a Comfortmaker system installed a year and a half ago that performs flawlessly. Prior to installing, I was hesitant of the product, as I did not know much about the name other than that it was related to Carrier. Upon researching, and talking to a local contractor, I discovered that the Comfortmaker product was just as good as a lot of its related and unrelated brands, but was often not installed correctly, resulting in costly repairs. My system has given me no troubles, I have an amazing warranty, and I am very comfortable with my decision to go with Comfortmaker. Install it right and it will treat you right.

Had a new Comfortmaker heat pump system with a variable speed air handler installed in my home. It was rated at a 15 SEER compared to my old 10 SEER. This has cut my utility bills at least 30%. The Comfortmaker ten-year no hassle warranty is hands-down the best on the market. I've had Comfortmaker systems in my last two homes with zero issues and great performance. I'm definitely a satisfied customer and would suggest this piece of equipment to anybody needing an upgrade or a fix.

I'm very satisfied with the Comfortmaker HVAC system. After researching this brand, I found that it is under the United Technologies brand umbrella, which includes Carrier,Bryant, Comfortmaker, and Tempstar. All brands are manufactured in the same facility with the same quality control across the board.
Product registration is required within 90 days of installation for maximum warranty coverage. The warranty for the Comfortmaker Performance heat pump is comprised of the following:
10-year limited warranty on all functional parts
Labor costs are not covered by the warranty.
