The Coleman Comforteer is a single-stage, multi-speed gas furnace available in 80% and 95.5% AFUE models. An electronic hot surface ignition and a newly designed heat exchanger provide increased dependability. The Comforteer has a 33″ tall cabinet which is compact enough to fit easily into tight spaces, and the folded metal edges of the front door panel improve durability. An induced combustion system with inshot main burners, along with a constant speed motor blower, provide quiet, efficient operation. The units are shipped for upflow or horizontal applications and easily converted to downflow applications.
From the moment the contractor arrived on time at our house, through our walk through and the install was a pleasant experience all the way around. The equipment performs as well as we were told it would, the comfort level in the home has greatly improved and the air is cleaner with the extra air cleaner that was recommended. I have asthma and this has improved as well with the new system.

"Online warranty registration is impossible"
4.0 rating
Somewhat Satisfied
Likes: Parts are readily available online, such as the control board, limit switches, etc., at reasonable prices. Dislikes: It was impossible to register online. You must register online within 90 days of installation in order to receive the 10-year parts warranty. Otherwise, the parts warranty is only 5 years. I sent emails, wrote a letter to corporate, and it was all very frustrating. I finally had to appeal to the contractor to register it for me, which he said he did. To tell you the truth, I have no idea if I have a 5-year or 10-year parts warranty!

"Gas Furnace replacement"
4.0 rating
Somewhat Satisfied
Bob Phillips of bcr Services came out and spent over 3 hours trying to save our old unit but the only sound option was to replace it with a new unit. The very next morning he came back and installed the new unit without a hitch and for a fair price. He was honest with me right from the start and did everything he said he would do in a timely manner as well as answer all questions and concerns. I highly recommend Bob Phillips of bcr Services and Ed Peterson of Johnstone Supply in Cherry Hill, nj. One downside to these new 95.5% units as well as our previous unit which was a 91% unit is that removing the condensation without it freezing has been difficult, this seems to be the same regardlees of the manufacture. I think the manufacturers need to come up with a drain system that won’t freeze up and become blocked. If it weren”t for the condensate drain issue I would rate the unit “very satisfied”.
