ClimateMaster produces geothermal heating and cooling products for new construction and retrofit applications. The company is part of the Climate Control Group (CCG), which is owned by Sweden-based NIBE. CCG is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. NIBE had net sales of approximately $2 billion USD in 2017.
ClimateMaster was established in the late 1950s in Florida, USA. The first water loop heat pump systems were manufactured in the new production facilities in New York. ClimateMaster was incorporated in 1983 and is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The company has a number of patented technological solutions, which are implemented at the 510,000 square-foot plant.
ClimateMaster geothermal heat pumps use the natural heat storage ability of the earth and/or the earth’s groundwater to heat and cool the house or business at higher efficiencies, compared to other methods. Their units include the Trilogy 45 Q-Mode Packaged System, Tranquility Packaged, Split and Water-To-Water Systems. Trilogy 45 Q-Mode has a 45 EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and was labeled as an Energy Star Most Efficient 2015 product. It also has an advanced monitoring and diagnostics module with a Wi-Fi communicating thermostat.
Depending on the model, Tranquility Packaged systems have a 1 or 2-stage compressor and different air filter variations. The models have optional configurations and fans with different speed modes. Hot water is available with part-time generation.
Tranquility Split Systems are designed for areas with minimal installation space available, and Water-To-Water Systems are used for hydronic radiant floor heating and domestic hot water generation in both new construction and retrofit applications.
Most products of the company are eligible for 30% Federal tax credit.
The company provides a 10-year limited warranty for parts and 5 years for labor. An optional 10-year labor warranty is also offered.
