Carrier heat pumps are manufactured with high-quality materials and features to offer optimal year-round heating and cooling conditions. When searching for a Carrier heat pump for your home, consider the SEER rating. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and it’s an easy way to compare the energy efficiencies of different products.

Heat Pump Overview

Part of an HVAC system, a heat pump helps heat and cool your home by extracting heat energy from your environment and transferring it to another location (usually from outside to inside). During the winter, it extracts heat from outdoor air and moves it inside to heat your home. In the summer months, it takes heat energy from inside and transfers it outside to keep your home cool.
