Updated onQuestion:
What size of filter do I need for a Bryant model 340AAV furnace?
Answer:
The filter for the Bryant 340AAV furnace can be installed in three different places:
1. Inside the blower compartment
2. In a filter compartment attached to the side of the furnace
3. In a filter compartment attached to the bottom of the furnace
If the filter is installed on the side of the furnace, the filter size doesn’t depend on the width of the furnace cabinet. If it is installed on the bottom of the furnace, the size does depend on the width of the furnace. The following chart tells you which size filter you need in each case.

Question:
What replacement filter do I get for a Bryant Evolution Plus 90i furnace?
Answer:
Unfortunately, which filter you need depends on a couple of different factors. Your first step is to find the return air duct on your furnace — that’s the duct that brings unheated air into your furnace. If the return air duct is on the side, then there’s only 1 filter size required: 16x25x3/4. If the return air duct is located on the bottom of the furnace, however, then the filter size varies based on the width of the furnace cabinet. Bring down a tape measure, and measure the width of the cabinet.
