"Freedom 80 is garbage"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

I live in LA, which means I need to run the furnace maybe one month out of the year to keep the house comfortable. And yet this furnace never has worked properly. Whether its a bad “call for heat,” or a bad high limit sensor, it never wants to supply heat. Already had three service calls from the guys who installed it, and even they are mystified, but they still charge $150-200 each time for the service call. Sometimes in the middle of the night, the furnace will work for 10 minutes, then the heat cuts out and just blows cold air until I wake up and realize the house is freezing and I trudge to the garage to unplug the damn thing for the rest of the winter. We are staying warm with electric blankets, space heaters and sweaters, but our house is a consistent 58 degrees at night. At least we’re saving on our utility bill.
