Airquest’s base product line, the Performance Series, includes three gas furnaces offering between 80 to 95 percent AFUE. Standing up to 35 inches tall, all models in this line feature a compact size and multi-position cabinet for installation in tight spaces. A PCS circulation blower motor, aluminized steel heat exchanger and duel-fuel compatibility are additional features of this series.
Mainline models start with 80 percent AFUE furnaces and reach up to 97 percent efficiency. The 80-percent models have a shorter warranty than the higher-efficiency models, but many have similar features, including two-stage heating, dehumidification capabilities, an insulated blower motor compartment and compatibility with two-stage cooling units.
Series ranging from 96 to 97 percent AFUE ratings are all Energy Star-approved models. Units are equipped with either a stainless or aluminized steel heat exchanger, a variable high-efficiency EMC blower motor and a communication system for enhanced indoor air quality.
Airquest offers a variety of upflow, low boy and multi-position oil-burning furnaces. While efficiency ratings typically vary between 80 and 87 percent AFUE, all models are constructed with a stainless steel primary heat exchanger and multi-speed direct drive motor. These units also feature insulated cabinets for keep operation noises low.
Care and Maintenance
The Airquest owner’s manual outlines a routine care and maintenance checklist to be performed by the homeowner and technician. Routine upkeep, such as changing the filter and inspecting the exterior, is recommended to be done monthly by the homeowner, while full unit inspections are suggested semi-annually or annually.
All Airquest gas furnaces are equipped with a 10-year limited warranty on parts and either a 20-year or lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. Oil furnaces receive a 5-year limited parts warranty.
Mainline units also carry 1-, 5- or 10-year “no hassle replacement” warranties, depending on the model. Products must be registered with Airquest within 90 days of installation to receive the full term for all offered warranties.
