De'Longhi is an Italian manufacturer of commercial and residential heating and cooling appliances (such as room air conditioners and space heaters). De'Longhi's US subsidiary, De'Longhi America, Inc., is headquartered in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. De'Longhi reported a net profit of approximately $137.7 million in 2014.
De'Longhi was founded in Treviso, Italy, in 1902 and didn't enter the U.S. market (as De'Longhi America) until 1980. The company began as a big-name producer of air conditioners and portable heaters until it expanded by adding cooking and household appliances to the product line. In 1985, De'Longhi debuted home heating and cooling products.
De'Longhi's portable and room heaters and air conditioners are marketed under the Pinguino and SuperPinguino product family names and sold at big box stores including Lowe's and Home Depot.

De'Longhi air conditioners and heaters come with a one-year free-from- material-defect warranty, which includes parts and labor. The warranty is effective for one year from the date of purchase and only applies to the original purchaser. Air conditioners have a four-year warranty on any part of the sealed system consisting of the compressor, evaporator, condenser and factory-connected refrigerant.
