Finding the right furnace filters for the XB90 is a bit complicated, but we'll walk you through it. First, you need to take a look at the furnace and figure out if it is an upflow furnace or a horizontal furnace. (This article can help you sort through that: http://www.furnacecompare.com/faq/definitions/air_flow_configuration.html.

If your furnace is in a horizontal configuration, you're done -- just use the chart below for the horizontal version of the XB90 -- you'll need to buy 2 filters.

If your furnace is in an upflow configuration, you only need 1 filter -- but it's a bit trickier to figure out which one you need.

First, measure the width of the furnace cabinet. If it's 17-1/2", you're all set -- you need a 17x25x1 filter. (You can buy one on Amazon with the link below).

If it's wider than 17-1/2", you'll need to see whether the current filter is located at the bottom of the furnace or on the side. Then, use the chart below to figure out the correct filter. If the filter is located on the side, the Owner's manual for the XB90 says that you'll need to trim down the 17x25x1 filter.

Let us know how things go!
