I purchased my home with a Centurion All Position Automatic Ignition Furnace, FG8B07512MU12A. I finally found where the filter is but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it out! The "slot" is just a bit smaller than the 1" o

Also, is the filter located on the bottom of the side of the furnace. If it's the bottom it should slide out easily. Actually, no matter where it is located the filter should slide easily out of the furnace. Also check to be sure there isn't a clip or some other mechanism to hold the filter in place that you aren't able to see.
