Hi,

I looked around and there isn't enough information to say one way or the other. I contacted Carrier and asked this question and received the following:

"Unfortunately without a model number we would be unable to provide any information on this unit. The furnace model and serial number can be found in one of two locations. On newer models it is located on the outside of the blower door. On other models you will need to remove the front cover of the unit and peer inside. The nameplate/sticker is generally on the left hand side. If you are able to locate the information please contact us back and we would be happy to assist you. Otherwise, we would advise that you contact a local servicing dealer for further direction in this matter. If we can be of further assistance, please advise."

They basically wouldn't answer a general question of whether this model comes in one or the other or is a choice left to the homeowner. If you have a model number I would call them directly.
