Are you getting any error code on the LED display? You can find more information and a list of codes and what they mean in the owner's manual or it should be on the inside panel door of the furnace. You can also look here for a full list of codes and how to read them: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/25568/Carrier-Carrier-58mcb.html?page=15.

Otherwise it is a rather large range of what the possible issue could be. Everything from a very dirty filter to a problem at the thermostat or the ignitor is going.

To keep legal happy, let me just say that I am not an HVAC contractor, and you should never even look at your furnace without having a qualified, liability accepting HVAC contractor present.  To keep sales happy, let me just say that you can find an HVAC contractor that's happy to take your money here: http://www.furnacecompare.com/perl/find_contractors.pl.
