The furnace starts, runs for 30 seconds average, then shuts off. If you take the acces panel off right behind the burners it stays running normal, like it was not getting enough air. What is causing this?Post created: 2016-09-01 Type of Equipment: Furnace Views: 42

This could be caused by a number of problems, including a faulty thermocouple, a problem with a pressure switch, or a dirty flame sensor. You can try removing the flame sensor and cleaning it with fine sandpaper. If this doesn't work, you'll probably need to contact a heating professional to troubleshoot and repair your furnace.
We get a lot of questions in the forum about furnaces that have trouble lighting or staying lit -- If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at this, we can help you find one, here.
