If you are getting a steady blinking light, it means the furnace is functioning properly. If it blinks in a series of flashes and pauses, this is an error code indicating that something is wrong. A list of error codes and their meanings should be located on the inside front panel of your unit. If not, or if you know the code but cannot fix the problem, you may need to contact a licensed heating professional to troubleshoot and repair your furnace.

We get a lot of questions in the forum about furnaces with error codes -- If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at this, we can help you find one, here.
