Why is the fan on my furnace always on?

The first thing to check is if the thermostat is set to "On" or "Auto". If set to "On", the fan will constantly blow, even if the unit isn't running. You'll want to switch it to "Auto". Also, check to be sure that the thermostat batteries don't need to be changed. This can cause problems as well.

Other possible problems include a stuck fan switch or a faulty circuit board. If this, or something else, is the problem, you may need a qualified tech to repair it.
