Water not draining through pipe so water is accumulating in overflow pan

This problem is often caused by a blockage in the AC condensate drain line. This is a pretty common problem but can cause water damage quickly if it is not taken care of. It is usually fixed by sucking the clog out of the line with a wet/dry vac.

If this does not take care of your problem, it may be something more serious that requires a professional HVAC technician. If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at this, we can help you find one, here.
