Heat pump is a problem

The Trane XE80 furnace has a 20-year prorated warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year warranty on parts. If your unit is within this time frame, you can contact Trane at 800-945-5884 for more information. Like most equipment with lots of moving parts, some may last 50 years while others will break down a day after the warranty runs out, or even before.

We get a lot of questions in the forum about furnaces that need service work -- If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at this, we can help you find one, here.
