Where is the flame sensor on an Aire Flo furnace? The furnace doesn't run long or heat well.

The furnace does not heat up the home very hot and does not run for very long.

That definitely sounds like it could be a problem with the flame sensor. The flame sensor will be close to the burner, with the rod located in the flame. If it needs to be cleaned, you can use steel wool or a fine sandpaper.

We get a lot of questions in the forum about furnaces with faulty flame sensors -- If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at this, we can help you find one, here.
