What 95% efficient furnace can I install to replace my Bryant 340MAV, model 340MAV060140 that is failing me after 12.5 years of service? And what is its price?Post created: 2016-01-20 Type of Equipment: Furnace Views: 286
This question was created on the page: https://www.furnacecompare.com/furnaces/bryant/340mav.html.
This Bryant 340MAV060140 was installed in a new house in September 2003 and is experiencing a heat exchange failure and a 'wobbling' of the blower motor fan/shaft; the first problem of which is known to Bryant in a class action law suit, so I am looking to replace the faulty unit with an even more efficient, new unit that will NOT fail in 12.5 years!

There are several 95% efficiency furnaces from Bryant and other manufacturers that could replace your unit. But before deciding on which furnace to buy, it is important to find a contractor who will do a load calculation on your home to ensure that you don't end up with a unit that is oversized or undersized. Once the load calculation is done, the contractor can advise you on which furnace is best for your home. The price will depend largely on which unit you decide is best for your home.
If you'd like to find a contractor who will do a load calculation and help you with your new installation, we can help you find one, here.
