Ruud Silhoutte ll furnace. Burners turn on for 5 to 10 seconds then shuts down after a few times doing this. I replaced the igniter/sensor but it still does the same thing. The furnace does cycle normally more than not since I replaced the igniter/sensor so the house does stay at a constant temperature, but I would like to get to the bottom of this. Thanks

The first thing to look for is a dirty or faulty flame sensor, but it sounds as though this may be the part you replaced. If it is, other possible causes could be a problem with the circuit board or a bad gas valve.
Problems like this can be difficult to diagnose. If you'd like to have a contractor take a look at your furnace, we can help you find one, here.
