The price for this size furnace can vary dramatically depending on the type, brand, features and other variables. The best place to start is to ask if this is really what you need. To learn more about how to buy a furnace go here: http://www.furnacecompare.com/buying_a_furnace.html.

And for a story that describes some averages go here: http://www.ehow.com/facts_7490350_average-forced-air-gas-furnace.html. According to this story--remember there is a lot of variability--the price can range from $800 to $2,000.

Good luck!
