Is my blower motor covered under warranty?

Post created: 2015-10-29 Type of Equipment: Furnace Views: 233

This question was created on the page: https://www.furnacecompare.com/furnaces/york/tm9v.html.

The motor was installed December of 2011. First time starting the furnace this year (Oct.26, 2015)) it did nothing. The blower motor does not start up- but it is VERY hot to the touch.

Furnace info:

YORK, Johnson Controls, TM9V Series, 95%, 2-stage, variable speed, (ECM) Multi-position, 33”

Model no. TM9V 080C16MP11A; FILTER: 16x25

Serial no. W1E1009329

Any help is appreciated?

Here is the link to the users manual for the York TM9V. The warranty section is on page 7. The manual goes into detail about the warranty and coverage. If you're still unsure about what is covered you may want to contact the contractor that installed the unit. Here is a link to the unit on York's website
