Here is a link to the troubleshooting guide for the Carrier 58MVP - http://dms.hvacpartners.com/docs/1009/public/0a/58-06t.pdf

This document should provide a very detailed breakdown of the issue you're experiencing.

If the manual doesn't help you out or you feel over whelmed, I strongly urge you to contact a contractor. Licensed HVAC contractors spend years in school and perform on-the-job training before they repair heating and cooling equipment on their own. So, if you aren’t 100% confident in your abilities, please hire a contractor. If you're not sure what contractor is right for the job you can go back to the company that installed the unit, seek recommendations from friends or a family, or we offer a tool to find a reputable contractor here: https://www.furnacecompare.com/perl/find_contractors.pl.

Hope this was helpful and let us know how it pans out!

Your furnace's status code is a two-digit number, with the first number digit determined by the number of short flashes and the second digit by the number of long flashes. Your unit has a code 45, Control Circuitry Lockout. This can be caused by a flame sense circuit failure, a gas valve relay stuck open, or a software error. You can reset the power to clear the error. If the problem continues, you'll probably need to have a contractor replace the control. We can help you find a contractor, here
