What size boiler do I need?

Replacing an old one with a new one. Want to make sure I am getting the right size and not to "overbuy" one too large.

You need to get a heat load calculation (also called a Manual J) done by a reputable contractor. However, many contractors are hesitant to take the time to do a Manual J -- they'll need to come out to your house, look at your windows, the insulation in your attic, make guesses about the insulation in your walls, figure out which direction your house faces, etc.
